2025 CPH Masterclasses

At Centre for Population Health, we believe in living the change we wish to see in the world. We welcome people from any sector and background to join our masterclasses. Our skilled faculty themselves represent a wide range of backgrounds and are therefore optimally placed to support you with your learning journey from wherever you are at. We believe that with diversity comes richness of thought and learning. As long as you are serious about wanting to learn and contribute, you align with our values and code of conduct, we will welcome you onto the programme and do our best to create the best possible experience for you every time.  

Before booking please make sure that you are available to attend the masterclass in full and that you have the IT facilities to be able to do so - including functional laptop, microphone, camera, access to zoom, stable internet and secure settings throughout. All times advertised at UK time and refer to:

• AM: 1000-1230 
• PM: 1400-1630

These are interactive sessions (rather than lectures) so please make sure that this is what you are looking for. It is a great opportunity to ask questions, share experiences and to grow your network, but does mean that we expect participants to contribute to discussions to ensure the best possible experience for everyone. We also require participants to respect the confidentiality of others on the masterclass to ensure that it is a safe space to learn and develop. 

To maximally tailor the content to your needs, a member of the team will contact you following booking to ask you more about what you are hoping to get from the masterclass. We may need to speak with you to double check that it is a good fit for you in terms of your own learning and development. If it is not, we will support you to the best of our abilities to find alternative means of support.

The type of personal information we collect 

We currently collect and process the following information: Names, Roles, Organisations, Contact details and support requirements.

How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons: (1)  Providing training and support (2) Providing those who have signed up to our newsletter with regular updates about our organisation’s activities, opportunities and support offers available to them  
 

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are: 

• Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting info@centreforpopulationhealth.co.uk 
• We have a contractual obligation.

How we store your personal information 

Your information is securely stored. 

We keep any personal information held about you for up to twelve months following the completion of the work you have asked us to do. We will then dispose your information by deleting your data securely. 

Your data protection rights

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

• Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information. 
• Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete. 
• Your right to erasure - You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances. 
• Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances. 
• Your right to object to processing - You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
• Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.

We are able to offer 100% refunds for any cancellations notified to us in writing more than 14 days before the listed date of delivery for the masterclass. 

We will provide 50% refund for any cancellations notified to us in writing 7-14 days before the listed date of delivery for the masterclass. 

We are unable to offer refunds for any cancellations less than 7 days before the listed date of delivery for the masterclass. 

We offer up to five 50% bursary places for small community, charity and other voluntary sector organisation who wish to join the masterclasses. We give priority to those working with under-represented and marginalised groups and will use our discretion as to the offers we make (depending on timing of request, compliance with the above, and also to ensure the best blend of perspectives and insights for the participant groups also to ensure maximum benefits for everyone attending). 

We are a dedicated group of professional keen to supporting people to develop as leaders, improve lives and create equity. We can offer consultancy or bespoke commissioned work ranging in sizes - from individual coaching and mentoring, to team development workshop facilitation, to whole organisation and system development over a multi-year programme.
